1. Change your bumble bee image to RGB mode by clicking image=>mode=> RGB.
Highlight your top layer on the stationary. Make the bumblebee your active
image.
2. Using the move tool, drag the bumble bee from its canvas to your
stationary canvas.
3. Using your move tool with bounding boxes checked to resize the bumblebee so that
it width is 40% and height is 40%.
4. Duplicate the bumblebee layer and rename them Frame 1, Frame 2, Frame
3, etc. up to 13. Click on frame 13 and click the Link option on the layers
panel to link frames 1-12 to frame 13.
Move the linked frames up to the upper right and drop the frame 1 link
when the images are slightly off the stationary. Move the remaining linked
bees to the left and drop the frame 2 link. Move the remaining linked to the
left and drop another. Until you have bees scattered across the top banner.

5. Turn all the bee layers off.
6. You are ready to move to the next step, Creating a rollover
animations. Save your file.
7. Click the link at the bottom of the tools palette to Jump To Image
Ready.

Open the imagemap panel. Select the circle imagemap tool. draw a circular
image map circle around your flower. on the imagemap panal, type in the alt
text of "What's the buzz?"
10. Click on the rollover panel. Click the option to Add a Rollover
State. When your rollover state is added, open the animation palette. Set
the time of frame 1 on the animation palette to 0.1 seconds.
9. Click on the Duplicate Current Frame Icon on the bottom of the
animation palette 14 times until you have 15 frames.
10. Creating animation frames:
- Click on frame 2.. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 1.
- Click on frame 3. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 2.
- Click on frame 4. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 3.
- Click on frame 5. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 4.
- Click on frame 6. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 5.
- Click on frame 7. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 6.
- Click on frame 8. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 7.
- Click on frame 9. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 8.
- Click on frame10. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 9.
- Click on frame 11. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 10.
- Click on frame 12. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 11.
- Click on frame 13. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 12.
- Click on frame 14. Turn on the eye on the layer palette layer called
frame 13.
- Click on frame 15. The bee should be missing.

Set the timing of the Frame on the animation panel where the bee lands on
the flower to 0.5 seconds or more.
Click on the 4 up tab of your main image, set the gif animation to
256 colors, 128 colors, 64 colors and 32 colors.
Check the size of the image
and loss in the picture. Go with as few colors as you can to make this image
still look great, yet have to lowest size.
Also, consider slicing the main
image so the individual images can be optimized as smaller animations.
Highlight the panel on the 4 up tab that you wish to save as and
click File=> Save Optimized As. Name your file. Make sure it is set to GIF image.
At this point if you only want a banner you can Crop this image into a banner.
Otherwise continue to the next step to
make rollower buttons with local and remote actions
