Part 3: The Background

1. Click on the Backgound Layer (layer 1). Insert a new layer (layer 7).

2. Set foreground color to Hex #C0DFEE and background color to Hex #213447.  Select the gradient tool, with the radial gradient option. Draw a radial gradient on layer 1 from the center to the bottom right corner of the canvas.

3. Add a Mask to Layer 7, Hit your D key and draw a radial gradient from white in the center to black outside in the mask

4. Insert a New Layer (layer 8).

5. Hit your D key to set your default colors.

6. Click Filter=> render=> clouds.

7. Click Filter=> Render=> Difference Clouds.

8. Click Image=> Adjust=>Levels. Bring the Right slider all the way to the left and click ok.

9. With your magic wand with tolerance set to 0, click on the white.

10. Click the menu Select=>inverse.

11. Click Select=> minify=> expand  set to 3 pixels.
 

12. Select edit=> stroke set to 1 pixel, outside.  Deselect all.

13.Set layer mode to multiply with opacity at 50%.

14. Insert a New Layer (layer 9).

15. Hit your D key to set your default colors.

16. Click Filter=> render=> clouds.

17. Set layer mode to multiply at opacity 50%
