Creating a Dream Catcher Part F and G

 

  1. Making water ripple effect

F. Enlarging the Canvas

1. Set the background color to black.

2. Click Image =>canvas size and set to

  • width 500
  • height 650
  • anchor click in the top middle box


 

G. Decorating the Ring

1. Open the feather picture In Photoshop.

2. Select the the lasso tool with feather set at 5 pixel.

3. Outline the feather to select it holding the shift key down as you do this.

 

4. Select the move tool .

5. Drag the selected feather to the dreamcatcher canvas and drop it.

6.. On the dreamcatcher canvas make sure the move tool  option for Show Bounding Box is checked. There will be 8 handles for you to use to Resize and rotate as needed. Move the feather to where you want it to go.

Apply your image by selecting the marquee tool and hitting apply.

7. Repeat G5 and G6 until you have plenty of feathers, different sizes and orientations.

8. SAVE your file as a JPG and you are done!
