Glass Buttons1. Create a new image by going file=>new
with settings 500x500 72px white background.
2. Create new layer select elliptical tool setting style to fixed 400px
400px.
3. Hit d key change black color to grey hex# 9F9E9E . Select fill tool
and fill inside circle.
4. Select channel tab create new channel fill circle with white which is
already the default color.
5. Go to filter=> blur=> Gaussian blur. Do this 5 times reducing by half
each time.
- first: settings radius 60.5
- second: settings radius 30.0
- third: settings radius 15.0
- fourth: settings radius 7.5
- fifth: settings radius 3

6. Deselect ball Hit ctrl d Keys and do 2 more Gaussian blurs by clicking
Filter=> Blur=> Gaussian Blur.
- 1 setting at radius 2
- 1 setting at radius 1
7. Click on layers tab and select layer 1 hold down ctrl key and click on
layer 1.
8. Select filter=>render=> lighting affects settings to crossing down


9. Create new layer ctrl click layer on fill circle with black, set mode
to screen
10. Click on layer1 hit ctrl I to invert
11. Create new layer call it edge definition ctrl Layer 1
12. Fill circle with white. Click Filter=> Gaussian blur by 2 px then 1
px. Set mode to multiple.

Create new layer fill with color you like. Set mode to overlay.
14. Double click layer 3 to bring up Layer Styles. Click drop
shadow. Adjust distance to 15.
Double click inner shadow make adjustment to Distance size and choke to your
liking.
Last double click inner glow and make adjustment to size to your liking.
and bingo there is your glass button or ball.
