1. Open you the picture of the Rose.
2. Duplicate your background layer and name it OUTLINE

On the layer duplicate, click Filter=>Blue=> Smart Blur
- radius=75
- threshold=75
- quality=high
- mode=edge only
4. Click Image=> Adjust=> Invert.
Change the blending mode to Overlay.

5. Duplicate the background again and name it CHALK AND CHARCOAL

Click Filter=>Sketch=> Chalk and charcoal.
- charcoal area=6
- chalk area = 6
- stroke pressure =1
Set Blending modem of Chalk and charcoal layer to multiply.

7. Right click on the background and Duplicate the background again and
name it PAINT DAUBS

Click Filter=>Artistic=> Paint Daubs
- Brush size = 8
- sharpness = 11
- brushtype= sparkle

Right click on the background and select duplicate background. Call this
layer GREYSCALE and drag this layer to the top of the layers panel.
11. On the grey scale image, Click Image=>adjust=>Desaturate.
Set this layer mode to Hue.
12. Right click on the background and select duplicate background.
Call this layer photo and drag this layer to the top of the layers panel.
13. Add a Layer mask to this layer. Hit your D key to set default colors,
and draw a linear gradient across this layer.
