Request a Tutorial

Graffiti Images

1. Open your stone bridge image. Duplicate the background.

2. Click Select => All Then click Edit =>Copy.

3. Click on your CHANNELS palette. Click the Add New Channel button on the bottom of the channels palette. Highlight the new channel called Alpha 1.
 

4. Click Edit=> paste. Click Image=> adjust=> brightness/contrast and set the following:

  • brightness=35
  • contrast = 45

5. Click back on the layers panel. Click the top layer.

6. Open the clip art. Click Image=> mode=> RGB to change to RGB mode.

7. Select your move tool. Grab the clipart with your move tool, and drag it to your photograph image. Arrange this in the lower right hand corner.

8. Click Edit=> Transform=> Scale. Change the height and width to 200% and apply.

9. Click Filter=>render=> Lighting effects. Set the following:

  • light = directions, on
  • Intensity = 14
  • Gloss = -40
  • Material = -61
  • Exposure = -3
  • AMbience = 68
  • Texture channel = Alpha1
  • White is high is checked
  • Height = 23

10. Right click on your layer and bring up layer styles or blending options. Check the box for Gradient Overlay. Set the following.

  • Blending mode = Darken
  • opacity =61%
  • Gradient Black to white
  • Style = linear
  • Angle = 180 degrees
  • Scale = 100%.
