 Haunted House
You will need the following to complete this
PART 1: Preparing the House
1. Open a New Canvas that is 600 wide by 550 high, 72 ppi, RGB white.
Hold your control key down and hit your letter i to invert the background to
black.
2. Open the night sky image. Use your move tool to drag your night sky
onto your image and place it up at the top of your canvas. We will position
it later.
3. Open your Victorian house. Use your move tool to move this onto your
canvas. Position this image so that it butts up to the bottom of the canvas.

Use your polygonal lasso to lasso the house and grass areas. add and
subtract from selection to get the house and grass Click the "Add
Layer Mask" button.

Paint black with a hard brush on the layer mask in the porch arches on the
right side to remove the background there. Paint black between the lamppost
on the right and the house .

Right click the mask and select apply layer mask. Then click layer=>
matting=> Defringe. Set the width to 20 pixels.

Use the Move tool to move the sky up and to the left over the house. Paint
black over the watermark.
8. Open the cemetery image. Use the magic wand set to add to
selection, no feather, and 35 tolerance to select the sky. Click select=>
inverse.

Select the move tool and drag it onto your haunted house canvas. This
layer should be sandwiched between the moon layer and the house layer. Click
layer=>matting=> defringe. Set the width to 20 pixels.
10. Set the layer mode to hard light. Drag this layer to the right side
of the house. Duplicate this layer. Click edit=> transform => flip
horizontal. Use the move tool to move this layer ce3metery to the left side
of the house.
