MATRIX EFFECT TEXT

Step 1:  Open new canvas, 350W x 200H, 72 dpi, background color.

Step 2:  Create new layer.  Select a green color for the foreground (e.g. 1AE344) and type something to fill the space (experiment with different fonts). 

Step 3:  Right click on this layer to duplicate it.  Go to Filer/Blue/Motion Blur and enter the following settings (angle 0, Distance 25).

Step 4:  Right click again on the ORIGINAL text layer and duplicate it.  Go to Filer/Blur/Motion Blur and this time enter these settings (angle 90, Distance

Your result should look something like this.
