1. Click File / New

• 400 wide
• 200 high
• 72 pixels per inch
• transparent and
• name it Neon

2. With black as foreground color (press D) click on paint bucket and click inside your layer window...Now your background should be black

3. Click on T tool ...

• Verdana or one to your choice for this project.
   I chose CAC Valiant
• 100pt
• Smooth
• Capital letters
• Color white

4. Type The word NEON in the center of the canvas. Right click on the type layer and select Rasterize.

5. Click Filter / Blur / and try "Motion Blur".

• Angle "0"
• Distance " 5 "
• Click ok

6. Click Layer / Merge down

7. Click Image / Adjust / Invert

8. Click Filter / Stylize / Solarize


8. Click Image / Adjust / Auto levels

10. Click Image => Adjust => Hue-Saturation

• Checkmark Colorize
• Hue 225....
• Saturation 85.
• (Or a color to your liking by playing with hue & Saturation)
