keep 03start.psd open.
2. Before you start you should reset your tools. Click on
Window>workspace>reset pallet locations. On the left side of the option bar
(which is under the Menu bar) click on the carrot (black arrow) which is on
the right side the tool icon.
A popout window appears. Click on the carrot on the right side and another
popout window appears. Click on reset all tools. If you do not see your
options bar go to Windows and mark options.
3.
The crop tool will be used to straighten the image. Select your crop tool
(third tool down on the left side of the tool bar under the lasso tool) OR
select your shortcut key clicking on C.
4. On the options bar for the crop tool and type in the width: 2 in
and in the height: 3 in. Leave the resolution blank.

5.
Take your crop tool and place it in the top left corner of the image window
and drag it across until it goes no further. Do not worry if the whole image
is not selected.
6. Place your crop arrow in the area OUTSIDE of the white border which
surrounds the image. You will see a rotating arrow. Drag this arrow around
until your selection line is parallel with the image top and sides.
7. Slowly move your crop arrow over the small bounding box on the corners of
the image until you see a small straight line with an arrow on each end.
8. Drag until you line up the selection line with the sides of the image to
cut away the white border. You will have to adjust the selection line a few
times moving back and forth from the
