Making a Dreamcatcher with Selections

  • You will need this image to complete this lesson

1. Open your image in Photoshop. Make sure your tools are reset before you begin by right clicking on the tool image in the options bar and selecting reset all tools. Click window=> workspace=> reset palettes.

 

2. Use the selection techniques from the last 4 tutorials to work the collage in one layer, the background, but selection, duplicating, dragging, transforming with any of the selection tools. Be sure to try out your keyboard shortcuts. Make the dreamcatcher with hanging feathers and beads, woven beads, and butterflies. Be sure to work in the one layer, using the duplicate selection on the on layer, selecting, dragging, transforming.
