Slide Show Photo Gallery

  • You will need this file to complete this project. Unzip the file and place on your desktop or anywhere you can find it on your hard drive. This file consists of many pictures in a folder.

1. Click File=> Automate=> Web Photo gallery.

2.Select the type of photo gallery from the first drop down. You have two choices for an automated photo gallery: Vertical Slide Show 1 and Vertical Slide Show 2. Select one of the other, The differences are in the layout of the slide pages.

3. Type in your email address in the email field

4. Choose the file extension of your choice for your files, .htm or .html

5. Click the browse button to select the source of images you want to put in your slide show.

6. Click the destination button to browse for the folder you want the slide show placed in. You may not use the same folder as your source files. Whatever folder you choose, will have all your files copied to, with htmls thumbnails and images in their own folders inside this destination folder.


7. The first options to set are the banner options. Select banners from the drop down menu. Dill in the information you would like to show up on your slide show. Date is also options. Set the font and size of font.
 

8. Select Large images from the options drop down menu.

Select resize images. Set the size for the maximum dimension for your images to 600. Check constrain so the images remain in proportion. Set jpg quality from 3 to 5. If you want a border around your images, set it.

Check the titles option you want.
 

9. Select Thumbnails  from the options drop down menu. Set the size of your thumbnails. Don't worry about columns and rows as it is determined already since you have selected slide show. Continue down the settings, making your preference changes.

 

 

10. Next click ok. When you click ok, the slide show will be created inside the directory you chose as your destination.

Your done!
