1. Open a new image by clicking File=> New and setting the image to width
of 700, height of 150, RGB, White, 72 ppi.
2. Select your type tool and type in the words Developing webs with the
following settings: font=Veranda Bold Color= black, size 60 pt.
3. Select your marquee tool. Control click the text layer to select the
text. Turn this text layer eye off. Switch to your channels pannel and click
the icon on the bottom of the channels palette to save selection as channel.
Call it alpha1. click the save selection as channel button again and
call it alpha 2.

While alpha 2 is highlighted and the text still selected, click Filter=>Pixelate=>Messotint.
Select Grainy Dots.

Click Filter=>Pixelate=>mezotint and slect fine dots this time.\
5. Control Click Alpha 2 channel and then switch back to your layers
panel. Add a New layer. Click Edit=> Fill. Set it to the 50% gray. Duplicate
the layer. select your gradient set to the copper preset. Draw a chrome
gradient from the top of the selection down to the bottom of the selection.

While your layer 1 copy s highlighted., Click image=> adjust=>
hue/saturation.

- lightness = -20

Double click the layer or right click and bring up blending options.
Check Inner glow.
- blending= screen
- opacity = 100
- noise = 100
- color = Hex value #993300
- source = center
- choke = 0
- size = 5
- contour = Gausian
Check Drop shadow.
8. Click on your layer 1. Click Edit=>transform=> Flip vertical. Use your
move tool to position it so the letters are just touching the type in layer
1 copy.
9. Click Edit=> Transform=>perspective. Drag the bottom left handle out
to stretch the bottom out, then stretch the top in so it matches the text
where it meets.
10. Set this text layer to 45% opacity on the layers panel.
