Creating A Body Image
Part 1- The upper body

1. Create a New Image 600 wide by 1200 high, RGB, white background

2. create the line of the body with the line tool. See picture.

3. Right click on the line layer and select rasterize.

4. Set foreground color to #7A3811 and background color to #F8D8C8
 

5. Open a New Layer. Name it Head and Torso.

6. Create the head and torso but using the elliptical marquee tool for each shape, and filling it with the background color.

7. Adjust the angle of head and torso by using the move tool with bounding boxes showing.

8. Highlight the head and torso using the magic wand, one at a time, and apply a stroke by clicking edit => stroke. Set stroke to 2 pixels
 

9. On Layer 1, create the shoulders and upper arms using your elliptical marquee tool, followed by fill with background color and stroke with the foreground color where the muscles for these would be.


 

 

10. After filling in the shoulders and upper arms, use a 13 px brush to remove the lines, and replace with fill color.

Use the move tool to rotate and adjust the positions of the upper arms and remove the lines where needed.
 

         

                  
11. Add the neck and remove unwanted lines by coloring them.
