Request a Tutorial

Using a Fill Pattern

 

1. Open a new image in photoshop 6 to work with.

2. Select the Marquee, lasso, or magic wand from the tool bar.

 

3. Select the area on your image that you will want to fill with your pattern.

 
 

 

 

4. Click the Edit menu and select

Fill.......           

 

 
5.  A pattern box will appear.
  • Selected pattern in the window under use
  • Click the downward arrow for custom pattern to display all the patterns saved on this computer.
6. Select the pattern you want from the selection box. If you created one using the tutorial from here, it should be there

 

Click OK.
7. Your selected area will then fill with the pattern you selected.
