Create a New image
- 400 wide
- 400 high
- RGB
- 72 pixels per inch
- white
2. Insert a New layer.

Set the background invisible by clicking the eye on the background layer.
4. Using the elliptical marquee tool, holding
down
the shift key to make an exact circle, Draw a circle that is slightly
smaller then the canvas.
5. Double click the foreground color. Uncheck websafe colors. Set the
foreground color to hex # 663300.
7. Use the Fill paint bucket
tool to
fill the circle on layer.
8.Right click on layer 1 and select duplicate layer. The new layer
is called Layer 1 Copy.

Set Layer 1 invisible by clicking the eye on the layer1 Layer layer.
10. Click Select => Modify => contract.
11. Set the contract to 16 pixels.
12. Repeat the contract again by 16 pixels by
clicking Select => modify => contract and set to 16 pixels.

Feather the selection by clicking Select => Feather. Set this to 25 pixels.
14. Hit the Backspace key to delete the selection. Deselect the image by
clicking select menu => deselect.
